Makuleia Bay is part of the Honolua Bay marine life conservatory and is located just south of Honolua Bay.
After a short walk down some built-in steps, you reach a pristine sandy beach that is surrounded by trees. The beach itself is fantastic and great for relaxation and sunbathing. The snorkeling here is a good as well because Makuleia Bay has coral formations on both sides of the bay.
Please note that with rough swells and high winds the bay is not suitable for snorkeling (as seen in some of the pics). Usually, the bay is quite calm and ideal for a day of laying on the beach and snorkeling in the water.
